2014
In 2014, Evgenia Hryhorieva — founder and CEO — sent her children to school and bought their uniform from a local atelier. The quality was poor, the fit was worse. She knew it could be done differently. Her background was in media and fashion, but the instinct was the same: details matter, and people notice when they don't.
She began producing schoolwear the way she would want to buy it. Trousers cut and fitted properly. Blazers with soft, structured fronts and full viscose lining — tactile, refined, nothing like the stiff synthetic alternatives on the market. The products sold immediately. By the first of September, demand outpaced supply.
A shared
standard.
The first school came shortly after — European Collegium approached 2x2 directly. It was the beginning of a different kind of business: not retail, but long-term partnerships with institutions that shared the same standard.
Beyond
borders.
Today, 2x2 is the exclusive uniform partner for leading private schools, including A+ Educational Holding — a relationship built since 2017. In 2023, we won a competitive tender against established European suppliers to supply Trinity School in Limassol, Cyprus. In March 2025, we shot our first international collection at the Royal Masonic School for Girls in Hertfordshire.
The reason schools stay — and every school that has partnered with 2x2 has renewed their contract the following year — is the same reason the business started. No shortcuts on fabric. No compromise on fit. Uniform done properly.
